Hereunder are incidents of the Sahaabah (RadhiAllaahu Anhu)m who had extreme love for those things and places connected to Rasulullaah SalAllaahu Alaihi Wa Sallam. - Part 2

6.) Aamir, the son of Abdullaah ibn Zubayr (RadhiAllaahu Anhu) reports from his father that he once approached Rasulullaah SalAllaahu Alaihi Wa Sallam as Rasulullaah SalAllaahu Alaihi Wa Sallam was having his blood cupped.
When the cupping was complete, Rasulullaah SalAllaahu Alaihi Wa Sallam said, “O Abdullaah! Take this blood and throw it where no one sees you.”
However, when Abdullaah ibn Zubayr (RadhiAllaahu Anhu) left Rasulullaah SalAllaahu Alaihi Wa Sallam, he took the blood and drank it up. After returning, Rasulullaah SalAllaahu Alaihi Wa Sallam asked him what he had done with the blood and he replied, “I have placed it in a most hidden place where I am sure that no one would know about it.”
“Did you perhaps drink it?” Rasulullaah SalAllaahu Alaihi Wa Sallam enquired.
When he admitted that he did, Rasulullaah SalAllaahu Alaihi Wa Sallam said, “Why did you drink the blood? Destruction shall come to people from you and destruction shall come to you from people (here Rasulullaah SalAllaahu Alaihi Wa Sallam was referring to the strife that took place during the time of Marwaan and Abdul Malik).”
(Mustadrak of Haakim no. 6343, Bazzaar no. 2210, Hilyatul-Awliya vol. 1 page 329. As-Sunanul-Kubra of Bayhaqi no. 13407 and Al-Mukhtaarah vol. 9 page 309 also has an additional portion)

Abu Moosa reports from Abu Aasim that according to popular opinion, the phenomenal strength that Abdullaah ibn Zubayr (RadhiAllaahu Anhu) had, came from this blood.)

7.) Safeenah (RadhiAllaahu Anhu) says, “Rasulullaah SalAllaahu Alaihi Wa Sallam once had himself cupped and said (to me), ‘Take this blood and bury it out of the reach of animals, birds and people.’ As I disappeared out of sight, I drank it up. When I later mentioned it to Rasulullaah SalAllaahu Alaihi Wa Sallam, he merely laughed.”
(As-Sunanal-Kubra of Bayhaqi no.13408, Al-Mu’jamul-Kabeer of Tabaraani no. 6434, Shuabul-Imaan no. 6070)

8.) Abu Sa'eed Khudri (RadhiAllaahu Anhu) reports that his father Maalik Ibn Sinaan (RadhiAllaahu Anhu) licked the blood off Rasulullaah SalAllaahu Alaihi Wa Sallam's face and then swallowed it. This happened after Rasulullaah SalAllaahu Alaihi Wa Sallam's face was injured during the Battle of Uhud.
Someone asked, “Are you drinking blood?”
“Yes,” he confirmed, “but this is the blood of Rasulullaah SalAllaahu Alaihi Wa Sallam that I am drinking.”
Rasulullaah SalAllaahu Alaihi Wa Sallam then said, “Once my blood has mixed with his, the Fire (of Jahannam) shall never touch him.”
(Al-Mu’jamul-Awsat no. 9098)

9.) Hakeemah bint Umaymah narrates from her mother that Rasulullaah SalAllaahu Alaihi Wa Sallam had a wooden cup in which he used to urinate. He kept this cup beneath his bed. When he looked for it one day and could not find it, he asked where it was. He was then informed that Surrah (RadhiAllaahu Anha),  the maidservant of Ummu Salamah (RadhiAllaahu Anha) , who had come with her from Abyssinia had drunk it.
Rasulullaah SalAllaahu Alaihi Wa Sallam said, “She has erected a solid barrier against the Fire (of Jahannam).”
(Al-Mu’jamul-Kabeer vol. 24 page 189 and 205, As-Sunanul-Kubra of Bayhaqi no. 13406 (except the last statement of Rasulullaah SalAllaahu Alaihi Wa Sallam))

10.) Abu Mahdhoorah (RadhiAllaahu Anhu) had a lock of hair in the front of his head. When he sat down, and let it hang, it would reach the floor.
People said to him, “Why don’t you cut it?”
He replied, “Rasulullaah SalAllaahu Alaihi Wa Sallam passed his blessed hands over it. It is not possible for me to cut it until I pass away.” He never cut it until his demise.
(Al-Mu’jamul-Kabeer of Tabaraani no. 6746, Mustadrak of Haakim 6181, At-Tareekhul-Kabeer of Bukhaari no. 2403)

11.) Khaalid ibn Waleed (RadhiAllaahu Anhu) says, “We performed one Umrah with Rasulullaah SalAllaahu Alaihi Wa Sallam. When he shaved his hair, people rushed forward to take it. I managed to quickly go forward and take his (SalAllaahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) forelock. I then made a hat and placed this hair in the front portion of this hat. Wherever I was sent thereafter, I always turned out to be victorious.”
